As her parents are in-transit, the search for Natalee Holloway is well underway. Hundreds of volunteers are aiding the search. Even the Aruban government gave their workers the day off in order to help with the search. Some 50 Dutch marines were sent over to search for Natalee.

Just two days after Natalee Holloway disappeared, media in the United States picked up the story and launched a media frenzy. Fox News Channel featured a one-minute summary, “Tonight, a frantic search is underway for a missing Alabama girl,” Greta Van Susteren said. Natalee’s story quickly made headlines everywhere and not a single person didn’t know about the missing Alabama teenage girl.
