Richard Thomas
Richard Thomas may seem quiet and reserved, but he’s made quite an impact. Starting off on stage and in soap operas, he made it big when he became John-Boy in the CBS series The Waltons.
Doris Day
1939 was the year we were blessed with Doris Day and her impeccable career as an actress, singer, and animal welfare activist. Her first hit “Sentimental Journey” took the world by storm and the hits kept on comin’. Often cited as one of the greatest singers of her time, in the 60’s she then became THE biggest female film star. With the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and Cecil B. DeMille Award to her belt, Day retired in 1973. At 95, she’s still active in her animal welfare activism!
