Stroll Around The Perez Art Museum Miami
Miami has a fantastic art scene, especially at the Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) where you’ll find plenty of modern art from the 20th and 21st centuries. The museum features art from Latin American, African, and Caribbean artists. Best of all, the museum’s cafe overlooks the Biscayne Bay, which is a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
Splash Around Oleta River State Park
Oleta River State Park is an excellent way to spend the day, especially if you’re a water sports lover. You can kayak, paddleboard, or swim your way around. If you’re more of a dry-land person, there’s plenty of hiking all around the mangrove trails. You can also relax in a beachy area where you can enjoy some food and sunshine.
Swim In The Venetian Pool
This landmark is absolutely stunning. The Venetian pool has stone bridges, caves, and waterfalls that are all made out of coral rock that make the whole place look like a Venetian lagoon. This is a beautiful place to spend a nice sunny day.
Rooftop Cocktails In Brickell
Brickell is the financial center of the city, but there’s also plenty of fun stuff going on here too. There are a lot of restaurants, high end shops, and of course, a lot of rooftop bars. Check one out in order to enjoy a drink with a beautiful view of Miami River, the bay, and the Miami skyline. Some local favorites are Area 31 and Sugar.
