These two massive stones seems to be right on the verge of “kissing” one another. They can be used as a metaphor for two people right on the precipice of admitting their feelings for one another, so close yet just far enough from making a real connection. Not only are these boulders a hair away from touching, they’re also on the verge of keeling over, teetering on the edge of the dirt they’re mounted on.
